Police are searching for a 24-year-old man from Meadow Lake who is facing 11 charges after an assault earlier this week.
Early Monday morning, around 12:20 a.m., Beauval RCMP were called to a home on Canoe Lake Cree First Nation for a reported assault.
Officers learned a man had forcibly entered the home, threatened the victim with a firearm and then assaulted them.

The victim went to a local clinic to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
According to RCMP, 24-year-old Brandon McCallum from Meadow Lake faces 11 firearm, assault and break-and-enter charges.
RCMP are searching for McCallum and asking anyone with information to contact them or submit an anonymous tip through Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers.
Saskatoon woman charged after RCMP seize drugs in Moose Jaw hotel
A woman has been arrested after being found with a significant amount of drugs at a hotel in Moose Jaw.
Saskatchewan RCMP said their Moose Jaw Crime Reduction Team made the arrest last Thursday night as part of an ongoing investigation. They found “approximately 469 grams of methamphetamine, 252 grams of cocaine, a number of pharmaceutical-style pills and cash” in the woman’s possession.
Police said the 40-year-old Saskatoon woman has been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000.
She is scheduled to appear in court Nov. 2, 2026.
