Police officers have a difficult, demanding job. But some days are easier than others.
Sandy Bay RCMP officers only needed to walk out the door of their detachment to make an arrest Saturday evening.
RCMP said officers heard “loud banging coming from outside their detachment.” In the parking lot, they saw a man smashing the windows of an RCMP vehicle with a metal bar.

The 35-year-old Sandy Bay man was arrested without incident and has been charged with mischief, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and breach of probation.
He was also wanted on a warrant for failing to appear in court in Flin Flon, Man. He made his first court appearance Monday.
