Officers with the Prince Albert Police Service responded to a shooting in the city’s West Flat area on Sunday afternoon.
According to police, officers found a man with serious but non-life-threatening gunshot injuries in the area. He was taken to hospital for treatment, and police said officers believe he was shot with a shotgun.

The police force said officers are looking for two suspects who were seen in the area. They were described as men wearing dark clothing. One was riding a black 2019 Super Soco CPx electric scooter.
Meanwhile, Prince Albert RCMP officers responded to a report of gunfire in Little Red River, north of Prince Albert, at about 3:15 a.m. on Sunday.
According to police, two vehicles drove past a home and a gun was fired, striking the home. No one was injured in the shooting.
One man was arrested as RCMP officers searched for the suspects, but police said the officers determined he wasn’t involved in the shooting.
Police said one of the vehicles involved was found abandoned on a grid road, but officers are still searching for a second vehicle. It was described as “a black car with a silver stripe and bright headlights.”
