A 14-year-old boy is in serious but stable condition after being beaten and stabbed near a school in Saskatoon’s Fairhaven neighbourhood.
According to police, officers were called to the 400 block of Forrester Road on Monday at around 10 p.m. for a call about an injured person in a park. That block is home to Fairhaven School
“The injured male was located and found to be suffering from what appeared to be stab and beating wounds,” the Saskatoon Police Service explained in a statement. “He was transported to Royal University Hospital.”

Police said no suspects have been identified, but the case remains under investigation. Anyone with information that could help the case was asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
