Police in Saskatoon seized drugs, weapons and a sports car during an investigation last week.
According to police, a drug trafficking investigation wrapped up on Friday with the arrests of a 46-year-old man and a 51-year-old woman, both residents of Saskatoon.

After the arrests, police said officers raided homes on St. Paul’s Place and Rusholme Road, where they seized 72 grams of meth, 23.8 grams of fentanyl, drug trafficking paraphernalia, $1,629.25 in cash and a 1972 Chevrolet Corvette.
Police said officers also seized a fake gun, a conducted-energy weapon, a butterfly knife, brass knuckles, a “blunt weapon,” and a “high-value bottle of Scotch.”
“As a result, the 46-year-old Saskatoon man and 51-year-old Saskatoon woman are facing a combination of charges relating to drugs, weapons, and proceeds of crime,” the Saskatoon Police Service said in a statement.
Two charged for allegedly evading police in stolen vehicle
Saskatoon police officers on patrol around 3:30 a.m. on Wednesday spotted a vheicle that had been reported stolen. The Jeep Cherokee was driving in the area of 22nd Street and Avenue P.
A traffic stop was attempted, but the suspects fled and drove to the 33rd Street area before police used a tire deflation device.
With two popped tires, police said the two suspects continued driving north out of the city on Highway 11. The RCMP was called to assist and took the suspects into custody after they reportedly tried to flee on foot near Hepburn.
A 35-year-old woman and two men, ages 33 and 48, are facing numerous charges each, including possession of stolen property, evading police, dangerous driving and breach of court conditions.
The 48-year-old man was also found to be unlawfully at large, according to police.
