A 44-year-old man is facing charges after allegedly stealing a City of Saskatoon truck and heading out of town.
Saskatoon police were called to the area of 36th Street and Ontario Avenue on Monday afternoon, after receiving a report that a vehicle was being stolen.

Officers tracked the vehicle as it headed out of Saskatoon, west on Beam Road. Saskatchewan RCMP, the Corman Park Police Service and the RM of Vanscoy Police Service were called on to assist as the driver left the city.
The vehicle stopped near Range Road 3070, police said and the suspected thief took off on foot. Police said he unsuccessfully attempted to enter a house in the area and was arrested, with assistance from the Saskatoon Police Service Air Support Unit.
The man is facing charges of dangerous driving and theft of a motor vehicle.
