Four men are facing charges after RCMP officers responded to a report of gunfire on Big River First Nation at about 3 p.m. on Saturday.
According to police, an investigation determined that a group of people fired a gun from a vehicle toward another vehicle parked near a home. The parked vehicle was not damaged, and no injuries were reported.

The suspects were located a short time later in a parking lot in Debden, the RCMP said.
Police said the driver of the vehicle fled when officers attempted a traffic stop. The vehicle travelled north on Highway 55 before ending up in a ditch. Three of the four occupants fled on foot following the crash, police said while the fourth remained at the scene and was arrested without incident.
A police dog tracked the remaining three suspects, who were arrested. Police said officers located two firearms, one of them loaded, as well as ammunition inside the vehicle.
A 39-year-old man from Big River First Nation is facing multiple charges, including failure to comply with release order conditions, flight from a peace officer, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and weapons-related offences.
A 38-year-old man from Big River First Nation, a 36-year-old man from Big River First Nation and a 34-year-old man from Debden are each facing firearms-related charges.
The 38-year-old is scheduled to appear in court in Whitefish on Nov. 10. The remaining three accused are scheduled to appear in Prince Albert Provincial Court on Thursday.
