Two people were injured in separate stabbing incidents on Sunday evening in Saskatoon.
According to police, officers were called to a home on Kingsmere Boulevard at around 10 p.m., where they found a 37-year-old man suffering from a life-threatening stab wound.

“Witnesses reported an altercation had occurred between the victim and the suspect who are known to each other,” the police force said in a statement.
Police said a 34-year-old suspect is facing charges of aggravated assault and breach of probation in connection with the alleged attack.
In the second incident, which happened roughly half an hour later, officers in the area of 22nd Street West and Avenue V South spotted a person running who appeared to be injured.
“They stopped the male and found that he had been stabbed. He was transported to hospital with non life-threatening injuries,” police said.
“There was a lack of information on the incident provided by the victim.”
Man injured in machete attack downtown
A 19-year-old Saskatoon man was hospitalized after a machete attack in the city’s downtown core on Sunday evening, police said.
According to police, officers received a report of an injured person at First Avenue North and 22nd Street East at around 11 p.m.
“Upon arrival officers located the 19 year old man suffering from a number of slash wounds,” police said in a statement. “He was transported to hospital for treatment.”
The police force said the victim reported that he was assaulted by two men who were about 20 years old and wearing all black clothing. One of the suspects was wearing a green hat, police said.
Man arrested after allegedly threatening staff and customers at gas station
A 31-year-old Saskatoon man was arrested on Sunday after two men allegedly threatened staff members and customers at a gas station on 22nd Street West.
Police said officers were called to the station shortly after 10 p.m., where they found the two suspects.
“One was found to be in possession of a knife, hydromorphone pills and drug paraphernalia,” police said.
The man is now facing charges of possession of a dangerous weapon, carrying a concealed weapon and possession of hydromorphone.”
Police said the man was released on an undertaking to appear before a judge in Saskatoon Provincial Court next month.
