Four-vehicle crash on 8th Street prompts police investigation

Saskatoon police are investigating a multi-vehicle collision that happened on 8th Street East on Tuesday afternoon.

Police responded to the incident at the intersection at 8th Street and McKercher Drive around 3:30 p.m. on April 21, according to a release from the Saskatoon Police Service.

“Four vehicles in the southbound lanes of McKercher Drive had been involved in rear-end collisions,” police said of the Tuesday collision.

Two people were taken to hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening, according to police.

The collision is being investigated by members of the Saskatoon police’s collision analysis unit.
