A 20-year-old Saskatoon woman is the third person facing a murder charge in connection with the death of Trinity Squirrel.
Squirrel, 22, was found injured on Hodgson Road near Highway 7 west of Saskatoon on April 15. According to police, he was pronounced dead shortly after emergency workers arrived at the scene.
The next day, an RCMP investigation led police to a Saskatoon home, where a 33-year-old woman and a 27-year-old man were arrested. Both were charged with second-degree murder.
Saskatoon police said officers arrested the 20-year-old woman Wednesday morning without incident. No other arrests are anticipated in the case, police noted.
