'Considering the circumstances ... this is best-case scenario,' Cole Cusitar said.
Two people have been charged with second-degree murder after a report of an injured man southwest of Saskatoon.
Around 1:15 p.m. Friday, Warman RCMP responded to a report of an injured man on Hodgson Road near Highway 7. The man, 22, was pronounced dead shortly after emergency responders arrived.
RCMP determined the man had been at a home on the 600 block of Wardlow Road in Saskatoon and contacted Saskatoon Police Service Major Crime Section for assistance.
Around 11 p.m. Saturday, Saskatoon police arrested two suspects — a 33-year-old woman and a 27-year-old man — from that address on Wardlow Road.
The incident is not believed to be random.
Both have been charged and will appear in court Monday morning.
