Three people from Saskatoon are facing charges after a pizza delivery worker was robbed over the weekend.
Police said the 30-year-old employee was delivering pizza in the 1800 block of Grosvenor Avenue when he was confronted by a man and a woman around 12:30 a.m. Sunday.
A struggle ensued, and the victim was able to escape and flag down a passing police officer.
The delivery driver’s vehicle and cellphone were also stolen.
The victim was not physically injured in the incident.
Three people were taken into custody by Lumsden RCMP when the stolen vehicle became disabled while evading police and stopped at a farm.
A man, 25, and two women, ages 20 and 25, face several charges including armed robbery and discharging a firearm with intent.
