A man is dead after a snowmobile crash along the shore near Stanley Mission, Sask.
Local RCMP responded to the call of a single snowmobile crash involving one man in the community around 12:05 p.m. Saturday.
Emergency personnel arrived on scene with police and the victim was taken to the Stanley Mission Health Clinic.
The driver, a 29-year-old man from the area, died as a result of his injuries.
The man’s name will not be released.
RCMP said the initial investigation found the snowmobile collided with rocks along the shoreline of a bay in Stanley Mission.
The victim was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
No charges will be laid at this time, and RCMP continue to investigate.
