Saskatchewan’s provincial coroner has ruled that the death of a 14-year-old boy in east Regina was an accidental drowning, but says marijuana was a factor.
Haven Dubois was unresponsive when he was pulled from the Pilot Butte Creek near Victoria Avenue East on May 20. The teen died in the hospital later that day.
A few months after his death, Richelle Dubois spoke to CJME, pleading for answers from the public and the friends who were with her son that day.
The coroner’s report lists drowning as the official cause of death, but also says marijuana was a factor.
