As people in Regina head out to do their grocery shopping for a Thanksgiving meal, Souls Harbour Rescue Mission is hoping they pick up a little extra.
The soup kitchen is expecting to serve more than 500 meals on Thanksgiving. It’s asking for donations to help fill out the menu.
They’re still looking for :
– Fall vegetables (squash, turnip, carrots, etc)
– Stuffing mix
– Pumpkin pies
– Coffee creamer
– Juice mix
– Styrofoam plates, plastic forks, spoons, and knives
– Large tin roasting pans
– 750 “Warm up for Winter” mugs
The food is needed by the end of the day on Tuesday, and the mugs are needed by the end of the day Thursday.
Donations can be delivered to the Souls Harbour Rescue Mission Soup Kitchen at 1836 Halifax Street, Monday to Friday, 11 a.m. – 7 p.m.
