A 10-year-old boy was taken to a Saskatoon hospital with serious injuries Wednesday after the tractor he was driving ended up in a slough.
Morse and Outlook RCMP were called to the RM of Enfield at 3:32 p.m. Mounties say the boy was driving a tractor pulling a hayrake on a gravel road when it went into the ditch, rolled, and ended up on its side in a deep slough.
A man was driving ahead of the tractor. He and people living nearby helped the boy until EMS arrived from Central Butte.
The boy was taken to hospital in Moose Jaw before being airlifted by STARS air ambulance to Saskatoon.
Police say the boy’s name will not be released.
