“Investigation determined a truck and car collided,” the Mounties said in a statement. “Subsequently, a second truck collided with the first truck.”
The drivers of both trucks were hospitalized for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, the RCMP said. The driver of the car was assessed for injuries at the scene, while a child who was a passenger in the car was also taken to hospital for treatment of “injuries described as non-life-threatening.”
Another passenger was unhurt in the crash.
The high-traffic highway was temporarily closed as police investigated the crash, but it has since been reopened to traffic.
“Warman RCMP continue to investigate with the assistance of a Saskatchewan RCMP collision reconstructionist,” the Mounties added.
