A fire at the Saskatoon landfill off Valley Road kept crews busy for hours Saturday night.
It started around 9:30 p.m.
Two engine companies, one tanker truck, one brush truck and 12 firefighters worked to contain the blaze.
Eventually, landfill personnel were called in to help.
Once the blaze was under control fire crews spent more than two hours putting out hot spots.
Landfill workers monitored the situation overnight.
There’s no word what caused the fire.
