A lone pilot is dead after a crop duster plane crashed near Arborfield, Sask. Thursday afternoon.
Carrot River RCMP said emergency crews responded to the crash site around 3:30 p.m. and the pilot was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Transportation Safety Board (TSB) told 650 CKOM the plane was a Cessna C 188B AgTruck, which caught fire after impact.
Investigators from TSB were on their way to the site Friday afternoon to determine the cause of the crash.
RCMP said they aren’t releasing the name of the pilot.
Arborfield is located approximately 40 kilometres northeast of Tisdale.
