But will hitting back actually help Canada’s position, or risk making a difficult trade relationship even worse? Joining us is Erin O’Toole, lawyer, former leader of the Conservative Party of Canada and a member of Prime Minister Mark Carney’s Council on Canada-U.S. Relations. He’s with us on the day these tariffs take effect to talk about Canada’s strategy and what comes next.
