As Saskatoon’s downtown water main project continues, there’s a new road closure that Bridge City commuters should be aware of.
According to the City of Saskatoon, the downtown intersection of Third Avenue and 25th Street will be closed for about a week, starting at noon on Tuesday, as workers complete a valve replacement project.

The city said detours will be in place to guide drivers around the work.
“Drivers are asked to follow posted signage and use caution when travelling through the area,” the City of Saskatoon said in a statement.
Saskatoon Transit routes may be affected by the closure, the city noted. Bus riders were encouraged to check service alerts and third-party apps for the latest updates on their routes.
The latest updates on construction projects can be found on the City of Saskatoon’s website.
