Two intersections on 25th Street East will be closed next week as the City of Saskatoon continues its downtown water main lining project.
According to the city, the intersection at 25th and Sixth Avenue will be closed from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. from Monday through to Oct. 19, weather permitting.

“Westbound 25th Street traffic will remain able to turn onto Kinsmen Avenue for the time being,” the city noted in a statement. “This access will be closed at a later stage of the work.”
On Tuesday, the intersection of 25th and Third Avenue will close for water main work. The intersection will be closed from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. until Oct. 20, as long as weather permits.
“Drivers are encouraged to plan ahead, follow posted signage and use alternate routes while the intersections are closed,” the city said.
