Police officers in Saskatoon seized weapons, drugs, cash and cigarettes after searching a home on 11th Street East last week.
According to a statement issued on Monday by the Saskatoon Police Service, officers arrested two people at a business on Eighth Street last Thursday in connection with a drug investigation.

“Following their arrests, a search warrant was executed at a residence in the 1100 block of 11th Street East,” the police force explained.
Police said officers seized a loaded .22-calibre Ruger pistol and 84 rounds of ammunition, along with bear spray, a machete, $965.50 in cash, 14.6 grams of cocaine, 31.1 grams of methamphetamine, 75 Dilaudid pills, 40 hydromorphone pills and 3,140 “illegal cigarettes.”
A 35-year-old Saskatoon man was charged with “weapons, drugs, and driving offences,” police said, while a 30-year-old man was charged with “drug- and weapons-related offences.”
A 39-year-old man was also arrested on an outstanding warrant unrelated to the drug investigation, police said.
