A 15-year-old boy is facing a list of gun charges after a police call on Central Avenue on Monday morning.
According to police, officers were called to the area after getting a report of a male suspect armed with a gun.

“Arriving officers eventually located the male inside a residence where he was arrested without further incident shortly after,” the Saskatoon Police Service said in a statement.
“Police also located and seized a firearm from the room that the suspect was located in.”
The teenager is now facing charges of assault, storing a firearm contrary to regulations, possessing a firearm knowing it is unauthorized, possession of a firearm knowing the serial number has been tampered with, possession of a firearm contrary to a prohibition order, and breaching court-imposed conditions.
He is expected to appear before a judge on Tuesday, police said.
Man bear sprayed on Clancy Drive
A 55-year-old man was bear sprayed on Clancy Drive on Monday morning, police said.
According to Saskatoon police, officers were called to the scene at around 9:25 a.m., where they found the man suffering from the effects of the stinging spray.
“Through investigation, officers learned two unknown males approached the victim and assaulted him before deploying bear spray at him,” the police force said.
The man was treated at the scene by paramedics, police noted.
Anyone with information on the alleged attack was encouraged to contact police or make a report anonymously through Crime Stoppers.
