Saskatoon police seize guns, fentanyl, Audi A4 and $14K Rolex

A drug trafficking investigation in Saskatoon’s Wildwood neighbourhood has resulted in the arrest of a 32-year-old man, who now faces 12 charges related to drugs, weapons, and proceeds of crime..

Saskatoon Police Service (SPS) said in a news release on Aug. 10 that members of the force’s tactical and crime reduction units converged on the 300 block of Tait Crescent just before 2 p.m. on Aug. 6 to execute search warrants on a home and a vehicle.

SPS said officers recovered a prohibited .380-calibre handgun, ammunition, bear spray, knives, and an imitation firearm, as well as street-ready quantities of cocaine, fentanyl, and gabapentin pills. A scale, vacuum sealer, and assorted paraphernalia consistent with drug trafficking were also found by police.

Investigators also seized a 2015 Audi A4, a Rolex watch valued at approximately $14,000, and $1,668.70 in cash, police said.
