A 41-year-old construction worker was killed when he was struck by a piece of heavy equipment on a job site on Meadows Parkway on Wednesday.
According to the Saskatoon Police Service, officers were called to the construction site in the city’s Rosewood neighbourhood just before 2 p.m.

“The 41-year-old male victim was pronounced deceased at the scene,” the police force said in a statement.
“Next of kin notifications have been completed and police will not be releasing the victim’s name.”
The death remains under investigation by police and occupational health and safety workers.
