A 34-year-old Prince Albert man was killed early Thursday morning in what appeared to be a crash involving a vehicle and a pedestrian.
According to the Saskatchewan RCMP, officers were called to the crash on Highway 11, near MacDowall, at about 1:40 a.m. Officers arriving found the man, who was declared dead at the scene. His family has been notified of the death, police said.

“Initial investigation suggests he was involved in a pedestrian-vehicle collision. The involved vehicle did not remain at the scene,” the Mounties said in a statement.
“Prince Albert RCMP continue to investigate with the assistance of a Saskatchewan RCMP collision reconstructionist.”
Anyone with information on the crash was encouraged to contact the RCMP or submit an anonymous tip through Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers.
