Police in Saskatoon responded to a pair of stabbings on Monday night and Wednesday morning, leaving two people in hospital.
According to police, the first incident saw officers called to 22nd Street West after getting a report of a stabbing.

“Arriving officers located the 40-year-old man with what were believed to be non-life-threatening injuries. He was treated by paramedics and transported to hospital for further medical treatment,” the Saskatoon Police Service said in a statement.
“The suspect fled the scene prior to police arrival.”
The second incident saw officers called to Assiniboine Drive just before 3 a.m. on Tuesday, police said.
“Responding officers located the 25-year-old man on the Warman Road overpass above Circle Drive. He was treated by paramedics and transported to hospital with what were believed to be non-life-threatening injuries,” police said.
“It is believed that the suspect and victim are known to each other.”
Anyone with information on either alleged attack was encouraged to contact police or make a report anonymously through Crime Stoppers.
Police arrest man who was allegedly brandishing pocket knife
Police in Saskatoon say a 41-year-old man was arrested early on Tuesday morning after allegedly brandishing a pocket knife during an argument.
According to police, officers were called to Ruth Street East just before 1 a.m. after getting a report of a man swinging a knife around.
“Officers arrived on scene and located a man matching the suspect description. He was arrested without further incident and a search of his person resulted in police locating a pocket knife,” police said in a statement.
“Through their investigation, officers learned that there was a brief verbal altercation between the victims and suspect before the suspect pulled out a knife. There are not believed to have been any physical injuries as a result of this incident.”
The 41-year-old man is now facing two charges of assault with a weapon, along with an additional charge of possession of a weapon.
