The City of Saskatoon is warning drivers of upcoming construction on McOrmond Drive over College Drive that could inconvenience people in the city.
The McOrmond Drive overpass over College Drive will close for two, one-night periods, for warranty repairs to happen on the bridge bearings, according to a release from the city.

“This work requires jacking (lifting) each side of the bridge deck to allow the damaged bearings to be removed and replaced,” the city stated.
The first closure will begin at 9 p.m. on Sat, June 27 and will lift at 7 a.m. on June 28.
The second closure will begin at 9 p.m. on Sat, July 11 and lift at 7 a.m. on July 12. Weather permitting, each closure is expected to last up to 10 hours.

During both closures, pedestrian and cycling access will continue and traffic under the overpass will be maintained.
Detours will be in place to guide drivers around the area.
