A number of ramps connecting to Circle Drive will be closed or see traffic restrictions put in place over the weekend in order to accommodate construction and improvement projects.
According to the City of Saskatoon, the Circle Drive ramp to Highway 16 will be closed starting at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday for paving work, with the project expected to take one night.

Then, at 6:30 a.m. on Saturday, the westbound Circle Drive ramp to Idylwyld Drive (northbound) will be closed for about two hours while streetlights are replaced. The westbound ramp to Idylwyld (southbound) will be closed at 7 a.m. on Sunday for roadway patching work, with that project expected to take one day to complete.
Spadina Crescent will be closed under the Broadway Bridge starting at 7 a.m. on Sunday to accommodate roadway patching, with the job expected to take one day.
Then, at 7 p.m. on Sunday, the Circle Drive eastbound ramp connecting to Circle Drive northbound will be closed for paving work, with that project also expected to take a single day.
The roadwork continues on Monday, with McClocklin Road closed between Richardson Drive and Denham Way starting at 7 a.m. for work the city descibed as “channelization.”
The northbound Highway 11 ramp to Circle Drive (westbound) will be closed at 7 p.m. on Monday for paving work, with the job expected to be completed overnight.
“Detour signs will be in place to guide motorists around the areas. The City thanks everyone for their patience,” the City of Saskatoon said in a statement.
“Closure end times are weather permitting and barring any unforeseen circumstances.”
