Commuters in Saskatoon may need to take a detour on Friday, as several roads around the city will be closed.
According to the City of Saskatoon, McClocklin Road will be closed between Richardson Road and Denham Way starting at 7 a.m. for “channelization,” with the project expected to last fore three days.

Avenue H will be closed between 29th and 30th streets starting at 8 a.m. while service connections are replaced, with the job expected to take two days to complete.
Meanwhile, 71st Street will be closed between Burron and Aronec avenues for construction work, with the project expected to last a week.
Finally, the city said the Circle Drive ramp to Highway 11 southbound will close at 7 p.m. for resurfacing work, with the project expected to take just one night.
“Detour signs will be in place to guide motorists around the areas,” the city said in a statement.
“Closure end times are weather permitting and barring any unforeseen circumstances.”
The city thanked drivers for being patient during the closures, and noted that Saskatoon Transit might also be affected by the roadworks.
