Police in Saskatoon have opened a suspicious death investigation, but very few details were made public.
According to police, officers got a call about an “injured and unresponsive person” in an apartment on the 1100 block of Avenue W South, in the Holiday Park Industrial area, just after 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

“Life-saving measures were attempted; however, the person was declared deceased by medical personnel,” the Saskatoon Police Service said in a brief statement.
“Members of the Major Crime and Forensic Identification Sections were called to the scene and are continuing to investigate. An update will be provided when new information is known.”
