A pair of serious assaults on Saturday has Pelican Narrows RCMP officers asking for information from the public.

An RCMP investigation has not resulted in any suspects being identified, police said.
Then, at about 9:35 p.m., officers received a report of an injured man on the road in a different part of Wood Crescent. Police said officers provided first aid before he was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The RCMP said officers are trying to determine whether the two incidents are related and are asking residents for any information that may be relevant.
“Information from community members often plays a key role in moving investigations forward,” said staff sergeant Scott Kirychuk, commander of the Pelican Narrows RCMP detachment.
“If something doesn’t seem right, trust your instincts and report it. The information you have could be exactly what our investigators need to hold people accountable.”
The RCMP asked anyone who lives on Wood Crescent and has a doorbell or surveillance camera to check their footage for suspicious activity between 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. on Saturday.
Anyone with footage or information about the assaults was asked to contact the RCMP or Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers.
“Residents of Pelican Narrows will continue to see an increased police presence,” the Mounties added. “If an imminent risk to public safety is identified, we will notify the public.”
