Pelican Narrows RCMP are searching for suspects who fled the scene after a firearm was discharged Monday morning.
According to RCMP, on Sept. 21 around 1 a.m., a firearm was reportedly discharged at a vehicle, causing non-life-threatening injuries to one person inside it.
Officers began searching for the suspect’s vehicle, a 2016 black Dodge Journey, and found it hours later, around 4:15 a.m.

The RCMP said responding officers turned on their lights and sirens, but the SUV kept going even as officers pursued and discharged a firearm toward it.
Police said the SUV was later abandoned on Highway #135, temporarily closing the road. It’s believed the occupants fled on foot.
“No arrests have been made at this time. A search for the suspects continues with the assistance of Saskatchewan RCMP’s Critical Incident Response Team,” according to a statement from the RCMP.
Anyone who saw the SUV in the Pelican Narrows area late Sunday or early Monday is asked to contact the RCMP or submit an anonymous tip through Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers.
