Two women were hospitalized after separate stabbing attacks in Saskatoon on Thursday.
According to the Saskatoon Police Service, the first incident saw officers called to the area of Avenue E North and 27th Street West at around 5:40 a.m. When they arrived, police said the officers found a 28-year-old woman injured.

She was taken to a local hospital for treatment, and police said her injury was not believed to be life threatening.
At around 11:15 a.m. on Thursday, officers were called to the 1600 block of 22nd Street West for a report of an injured person.
“Upon arrival, officers located a 29 year old woman on the sidewalk, suffering from what appeared to be stab wounds,” the Saskatoon Police Service said in a statement. “She was transported to hospital with serious injuries.”
Police asked anyone with information on either incident to get in touch with police or make a report anonymously through Crime Stoppers.
