A single-vehicle rollover on Highway 797 claimed the life of a 40-year-old man from Lloydminster.
According to the Saskatchewan RCMP, police, firefighters and paramedics were called to the crash scene near Frenchman Butte, northeast of Lloydminster, at around 11:30 a.m. on Thursday.

“The sole occupant of the vehicle was transported to hospital by EMS. He was declared deceased by EMS enroute to the hospital,” the Mounties said in a statement.
“He has been identified as a 40-year-old male from Lloydminster, SK. His family has been notified.”
Police said the crash is under investigation, with help from a collision reconstruction expert.
