An injured person in the 3300 block of Eighth Street East was reported to police around 5:20 p.m. Police were told there was a “physical altercation and that security had detained multiple people” at the business.

Three security guards had four people with them when Saskatoon Police Service officers arrived at the scene, according to a statement from police.
Police said an investigation revealed that two male youths approached a man and robbed him. A fight then broke out, during which a woman, who was known to the male victim, allegedly reached into a bag and pulled out a firearm, which she pointed at the two boys.
A 20-year-old man was found with injuries that police described as non-life-threatening and consistent with an assault.
Officers arrested the two youths on scene and, when searching one of the boys, found a canister of bear spray.
A 19-year-old woman, who was uninjured, was also at the scene. She was also arrested, and police said officers found a sawed-off rifle when a nearby vehicle was searched.
The incident resulted in charges laid against two 16-year-old boys, including robbery, assault causing bodily harm and committing an offence while masked. One of the teens was also charged with possession of a weapon, carrying a concealed weapon and breaching court-imposed conditions.
Police said the woman “has been charged with numerous firearms-related charges.”
Man charged after weapons call, traffic stop
A weapons call at around 3:10 a.m. on Monday brought Saskatoon police to Sixth Avenue North and King Street after getting a report that a vehicle had “pulled up to an individual and someone in the vehicle had a gun.”
Officers responding to the call found a vehicle with the same description near Princess Street and Third Avenue North.
“A high-risk traffic stop was conducted and one of the passengers began to run away; however, a K9 track was conducted and the male was located and arrested shortly after,” police stated in a release.
The remaining people in the vehicle were also arrested and, after searching the vehicle, police said officers found a can of bear spray.
A 36-year-old man is now facing charges of possession of a weapon and breaching court-imposed conditions.
