New pedestrian crossing signals on Warman Road at Hazen Street and at 5th Avenue North in Saskatoon will be tested this week.
The City of Saskatoon said in a news release the signals will operate in temporary flashing mode starting at 10 a.m. on May 19 through May 21, weather and testing dependent.

The city said signals crossing Warman Road at Hazen Street will flash red in all directions for drivers to come to a complete stop, while signals crossing Warman Road at 5th Avenue North will see the signals flash amber, requiring them to proceed through the intersection with caution.
The signals will be activated ahead of a new bus service that starts May 31 on Routes 30 and 35 with two nearby platforms part of the future Link rapid transit blue line.
