Firefighters in Saskatoon were called to a commercial fire Sunday morning on the 100 block of 34th St E.
That’s just a short distance away from the intersection of 33rd Street East and Quebec Avenue.
In a news release, the Saskatoon Fire Department said crews were called around 5:46 a.m., and found smoke and flames coming from outside of the building when they arrived.
A hose line was set up to spray water at the exterior fire while a separate crew made their way inside, searching for anyone who might have still been inside.
The blaze was eventually extinguished, with crews setting up large fans inside to remove any lingering smoke or toxins that could still be in the building.
The release said all occupants inside the building were accounted for, and there were no injuries to evacuees or firefighters.
A fire investigator is now working to find the cause, origin, and damage estimate.
