A 22-year-old woman has died following a collision between a motorcycle and a vehicle on Saskatoon’s University Bridge early Thursday morning.
Saskatoon Police responded to the call at around 7:30 a.m.

Traffic was quickly restricted in both directions and motorists were asked to find an alternative route.
The driver of the motorcycle, a 22-year-old woman, was taken to hospital where she was pronounced dead.
The Collision Analyst Unit is continuing to investigate.
Traffic restrictions on the bridge have now been lifted.

The bridge closure, coupled with the construction on the Broadway Bridge, created large traffic jams in some parts of the city.
