A 41-year-old pedestrian from Domremy is dead after a collision with a vehicle on Highway 2.
According to the RCMP, the crash happened about 10 kilometres south of Wakaw at around 5 p.m. on Monday. The pedestrian was declared dead at the scene by paramedics, and police said his family has been notified.

“The driver of the involved vehicle remained at the scene,” the RCMP said in a statement. “No other injuries were reported to police.”
The RCMP said the crash is under investigation with help from a police collision reconstruction expert.
