Two men have been charged with first-degree murder in connection with a slaying in Saskatoon’s Riversdale neighbourhood in February.
According to Saskatoon police, officers from the RCMP’s Saskatoon Warrant Enforcement and Suppression Team (WEST) on Wednesday arrested a 37-year-old man who was wanted on warrants for breach of probation.
After that arrest, members of the Saskatoon Police Service’s Major Crime Section then charged the man with the murder of a 48-year-old man at a home in the 200 block of Avenue I South on Feb. 17.
A second man, aged 34, was arrested by the SPS on Thursday and also charged with murder. Both men were to appear before a Justice of the Peace.
