Highway Hotline reported a vehicle collision three kilometres south of Warman at Township Road 384.
Video submitted by Adam Peters showed fire crews extinguishing flames from a white van in the northbound lane shortly after 1 p.m. on Friday.
According to Medavie Ambulance, there were no serious injuries, but one person was taken to hospital.
The route was clear on the hotline just after 4:30 p.m.
According to Saskatoon police, poor driving conditions caused by Friday’s snowfall have been an issue in the city. A media release from police issued at 1:35 p.m. said officers had responded to 19 crashes in the city since 8 a.m., but none had resulted in serious injuries.
The city said on its website that it sent out 18 sanders, four plows and four sidewalk plows. It also said it’s using deicing materials at high-traffic areas like Circle Drive.
