Mounties in Pelican Narrows say a man is facing charges in connection with a shooting that left two teens injured.
The RCMP said officers got a report of a shooting in the early-morning hours Tuesday, and found a male teenager and female teenager injured at the scene.
A woman was initially arrested but not charged, the RCMP said.
On Friday, Mounties said that woman had been released without charges, and a 23-year-old man is now facing charges in connection with the alleged attack.
He’s facing two counts each of aggravated assault, discharging a firearm with intent and pointing a firearm, along with charges of possessing a restricted or prohibited weapon with ammunition, unauthorized possession of a firearm, possessing a weapon for a dangerous purpose, and using a firearm during the commission of an offence.
He’s scheduled to appear in court in Pelican Narrows on Monday.
