A woman is in RCMP custody after two people were shot in Pelican Narrows.
According to the Mounties, officers got a report of a shooting at around 2:10 a.m. on Thursday. At the scene, police found a male teenager and a female teenager who were both injured.
They were taken to hospital for treatment; police said the male teen’s injuries were described as “serious,” while the female teen’s injuries weren’t considered life-threatening.
Police said an adult woman was arrested, but has not been charged.
“Updates will be provided as they become available,” the RCMP said in a statement. “If investigation determines an imminent risk to public safety exists, we will notify the public.”
