Mounties in Martensville are asking the public for any information that could help solve a pair of suspicious fires.
At around 2:40 a.m. on Tuesday, police were called to a fire at a business on Centennial Drive South, which was destroyed by the blaze despite the efforts of firefighters from both Martensville and Warman. No injuries were reported, the RCMP noted.
Then, at around 9:30 a.m., Mounties got a report of a second fire, this one at a home on Fifth Street. That building was also destroyed, police said, and again no injuries were reported.

“Initial investigation has determined the fires may be suspicious in nature,” the RCMP said in a statement.
“As such, Martensville RCMP are asking anyone who saw anything suspicious in these areas the morning of December 12, or who has any information about the fires, to contact their local police of jurisdiction.”
Fire investigators with the Saskatchewan Public Safety Agency are also investigating, police noted.
