A 30-year-old Saskatoon man has been charged with arson in connection with three fires in back alleys.
According to police, the first of the three fires was reported in an alley on 23rd Street East on Saturday night. Soon after, another fire broke out in an alley on First Avenue South.

Police said video surveillance footage let officers identify and arrest the 30-year-old man, and as the investigation continued, officers found the man was also responsible for a third alley fire on Sept. 19 on 22nd Street West.
The man is now facing three charges of arson, police said.
