Environment Canada issued heat warnings for several parts of northern Saskatchewan Wednesday afternoon.
The warnings covered Lloydminster, La Loche, and Île à la Crosse, as well as the surrounding areas.
The weather service said daily highs are expected to be near 30 C, with overnight lows in the mid to high teens Thursday and Friday.
Cooler temperatures are expected this weekend, Environment Canada said.
