A fourth person has been charged in connection with the shooting death of a Saskatoon man on the Beardy’s and Okemasis’ Cree Nation.
Dana Morningchild, 29, was arrested in Saskatoon on Tuesday and charged with second-degree murder. Morningchild’s next court appearance is set for April 28.
Cody Tait was found hurt on a road on the Cree Nation on March 27. Mounties who responded tried lifesaving efforts, but Tait died at the scene.
A 20-year-old man from North Battleford, a 20-year-old woman from Saskatoon and a 28-year-old man from Saskatoon previously were charged in connection with Tait’s death.
