Two more people are facing second-degree murder charges in connection with the shooting death of a Saskatoon man on the Beardy’s and Okemasis’ Cree Nation.
Scotty Jimmy, a 20-year-old from North Battleford, and 20-year-old Allison Bear of Saskatoon were arrested on Friday. They were to make their first appearance in Saskatoon Provincial Court on Monday.
They’re the second and third people charged in connection with the death of Cody Tait.
The 22-year-old Saskatoon man was found hurt on a road on the First Nation on March 27. Mounties who responded tried lifesaving efforts, but Tait died at the scene.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call their local RCMP detachment at 310-RCMP or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
